Caryn R. Sagal has 30 years of agency public relations experience. While managing campaigns for a diverse range of clients, she has consistently secured broadcast interviews, feature articles and cover stories – in addition to developing branding materials, planning/promoting special events and providing strategic PR counsel.
Baltimore Magazine named her Best Flak (public relations professional) in its highly coveted “Best of Baltimore" issue. She also won a Gold Award from the International Association for Business Communicators-Harrisburg Chapter for leading a national marketing communications campaign for an automotive product launch. Earlier, the Public Relations Society of America-Maryland Chapter named her New Professional of the Year.
A repeat presenter to the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit Committee and a featured speaker at AFP’s “Fundraising Day in Maryland,” Caryn has extensive nonprofit experience. Besides helping her clients, she has volunteered on numerous marketing and event committees, and chaired major fundraisers such as The Chocolate Affair and BOOK BASH. She currently serves on the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce Board Advisory Committee and has spearheaded PR for the Chamber’s The Taste signature event. Previously, she served on the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-Maryland Chapter Board of Directors.
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland, College Park, she ranked #1 in the College of Journalism, receiving the Outstanding Public Relations Senior Award and the Kappa Tau Alpha National Journalism Honor Society's Top Scholar Award.
